Boxing Fitness For Young People In Fareham & Gosport

Victory Amateur Boxing Club offer boxing fitness for young people in Fareham & Gosport.

Located in Stubbington village, just a few miles from Fareham in Hampshire, the club was formed in 2007, and became affiliated to the Amateur Boxing Association of England (ABAE) soon after. We hold our training sessions at the 1st Stubbington Scout Hall, just behind the community centre. The hall has its own parking and is equipped with male and female toilets and a kitchen. It also benefits from the proximity of the sports fields just behind, which we frequently use during training sessions.

Our Remit

Our remit is fitness and self defence for kids, but older members are welcome too. Our aim is twofold – to engender a regime of fitness and wellbeing in youngsters and to promote the ‘noble art’ of amateur boxing, with all the character building benefits that are part and parcel of development within the sport. In our club, the two are mutually exclusive; in other words, you don’t have to box or even spar, to be a member of our club, while at the same time, those who have competition as their aim, will have the full support and encouragement of the coaches, to develop and succeed.

Our Coaches

The coaches are enhanced CRB accredited and the club also adheres to ABAE policies concerning Child Welfare as well as adopting policies whereby the safety of club members is regarded as paramount.

Our Facilities

Our well equipped gym means that club members are provided with everything they need to get fit and be ready for competition, including a platform sparring ring. Members only need to supply their own hand wraps/crepe bandages and gum shields.
